In schools, institutions and workplaces, people suffer from numerous problems due to poor air exchange. Various health hazards manifest themselves in allergy symptoms: irritation of the eyes and airways, hoarseness and coughing, itchy skin, headaches, nausea, fatigue and odours.

When examining people with allergies, in one in six cases there was a direct link between the allergy and the humidity and bacteria concentration in the air exchange system.

Children suffer more than adults from poor indoor air. Children breathe more rapidly and take in more air, and they are closer to the floor where the concentration is higher.
